Hi Folks, This is my last post as a Coeliac because I do not have it!

I have recently gone through my medical records and found that I had an endoscopy between 1990 & 1992 there was nothing found.

In May 2007 I had an endoscopy which I shall be requesting the results. biopsies X 9

In January 2011I had another Endoscopy which had a Marsh 0 biopsy according to Stanford Medicine Marsh Type 0 Normal; celiac disease highly unlikely. Confirmed by Coeliac UK.

So it looks like my Hong Kong diagnosis 1955 was for Tropical Sprue not Coeliac Disease. Now to wean myself back onto normal foods.

Tropical Sprue has Folic Acid deficiency and is treated with Tetracycline over six months.

That's my 2 pennys worth.
