I think it tends to take a lot of experimenting and finding what works for you and your oven and your tastes buds. Loads of YouTube videos on GF bread.
Hi,
There's lots of stuff in our archive. Type "home made bread" in the search box or use this link

For a packet bread to do in the bread machine i like a brand called Helens. It doesnt like additions ie fruit but im still experimenting i contacted the company and they said i would need to make it wetter if i was adding other things. But as a normal bread i found it quite tolerable.
I had not realised that there were recipes available (silly me) I will be trying some soon. Meanwhile my go to recipe is by gluten free alchemist (No affilation) a lady who is coeliac and so is her daughter. She has spent a lot of time researching the properties of the alternative "grains" and developing recipes, this one is great Perfectly Fluffy Gluten Free Oat Bread glutenfreealchemist.com/201... as is her recipe for GF cheese scones, I adore these!
Hi! I get my flour on prescription. I get Juvela white mix. I know some on here can't tolerate codex wheat starch but I'm ok with it. The bread made with Juvela mix tastes like normal bread to me. It does have skimmed milk powder in it and some dairy intolerant can have it but some definitely can't. If you're ok with codex wheat starch and dairy then I highly recommend this flour. I use it in any cake recipes too and everything tastes normal. Hope you find some bread you like soon.
