i think it is anything between 600 to 700 ,that's what ive been told by my doctor,as mine was only 30 when I took myself off to a@e

I think it depends which type of test your doctor does. I believe that there are several different ones used in the UK. Sorry - I know that's not very helpful!
The levels varies from different levels in different countries and it's usually a very wide banding in the UK from around 300 to 900 from memory I think. You'd be best to ask the Pernicious (B12) anaemia group here on healthunlocked: pasoc.healthunlocked.com/
I found this on the Pernicious Anaemia Society's website, though it's quite old. It shows it's quite variable.

Thank you everyone, I've done some research and in Europe B12levels range from between 500 to 1100 so as I feel really well on 1200 I'm going to see if I can remain on 1200, we are all different after all, will keep you updated. amimaryann
