An endoscopy, they need to look at the Villi which lines the upper gastrointestinal tract and which is responsible for food absorption in the small intestine. What an endoscopy typically shows in a coeliac is flattened villi and it is the gluten that causes this so you have to have not been gluten free or your villi will look normal.

I hope this helps.

if by chance you have a negative test...check for bacterial infection...that is what my issue with gluten turned out to be...an ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANT strain of STAPH...can lay dormant for years and then suddenly cause you issues...I was given a very strong antibiotic and my sensitivity ended almost immediately...post me and I will share which anti-biotic is was...or you can visit my blog that I posted last night with my story....called ALERT-other cause of gluten sensitivity/intolerance ...good luck with your test......as for me, I now have a new life

I have had the coeliac blood screening results, and apparently mine was 0.51 and the Ref range less than 10... Does that mean anything?

I really don't know...they just told me I was neg and didn't really give me any numbers....most of those medical providers that I have seen actually did not give me very good service except of course the GU DR and the allergist I went to later.....this answer I found out by accident, when my primary provider ws trying to treat bronchitis and the first antibiotic didn't work.....what she gave me, fixed EVERYTHING...LOL

I suggest Field Control Therapy to test for the causes and apply some treatment for organ support and the removal of related harmful agents. It's more than just food related. There are 7 causes of disease goo.gl/9RuwW, and they all have to be addressed, and can be successfully.

Medical tests will not only be inaccurate, but even they were, the medical community won't know how to deal with the problem, mostly because they don't know nor treat the cause. In fact, medication, which is used will exacerbate the condition over time.

Check out yurkovsky.com, in the US.

I don't know where you're located. I am in central Canada.

I can suggest a practitioner in the UK or US.

The treatment will take some time, and some discipline in diet and electromagnetic abstinence, but will bring recovery.
