I am about to need to purchase my first bottle of Vyzulta. My first two bottles were samples but I can’t get anymore for free. They brought the pressure in my bad eye from 31 to 20.
I live in the US and with my medical plan, the first bottle will cost me about US$550. After that they will be about US$200 each, while Latanoprost is free. My ophthalmologist says that she has seen Vyzulta work well for some people, but not for all, and there isn’t enough data to know more yet.
I’m unsure of which medication I should take. I do use a nanodropper so I can extend each bottle hopefully to three months. I would love some thoughts on this. Thank you!

I’m not an expert and am on Monopost (using daily vials) but, once opened, I think the shelf life of any of these drops is 30 days, so being careful to extend its life could put you at risk of harm.
The Vyzulta directions say that once Vyzulta is opened, I t’s good for eight weeks. My doctor said it should be OK to extend it to three months with the Nanodropper. I will ask her about this next time I see her. Thank you for responding!
Hi there. As far as I'm aware Vyzulta is not used here in the UK so it is difficult to advise on. When it comes to eye drops we always say to seek professional help from your eye specialist for their advice.
