Ganfort Preservative Free Eye Drop Side Effects

Hi all,

Anyone here using Ganfort PF? I tried it one day it’s very effective but my eye red for whole day!🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Just to check will the redness go away?😂😂😂

You should check if you can use the drops at night and the redness wont be as bad in the morning .

I use Ganfort too, I was advised to use them at bedtime and block my tear ducts for 3 minutes. I use Xalin night time gel about 30 minutes after. You are right about the red eye though.

I was interested to read the reply on another question about drinking more water and I will try this too, I am going to discuss the red eyes with my consultant at the next appointment. ( if I get to see a doctor at all!! Last 2 clinics were nurse led and she didn’t have many answers to any questions!).

Do continue to talk to people as you do get some good suggestions and it’s nice to know that we are not alone.

Azopt, Azarga and Lumigan never worked for me. Ganfort preservative free has been fine - but I do need to change it every 30 days as if I forget within a couple of days my eyes start to go red - and that reminds me!
