Risk Factor

I have Glaucoma in my left eye and last November had a Preserflo MicroShunt inserted.

My question is I am considering having Foam Sclerotherapy injections to veins in my

leg and wonder if this has any risk factor.

Hello,

I think the best thing to do would speak to your glaucoma consultant regarding this, they will be able to advise you. If you are not due to see them soon, you can call the eye secretary.

It is also important to mention you have glaucoma to the vein specialist and make them aware of any medication you are taking.

If either one of them have concerns, they will confer with each other regarding any possible issues with the procedure.
