I got some good news!

In June, I had laser trabecuplasty (both eyes) and today, I went back to the consultant, for a check-up. In June, my pressures were 16 in each eye. This morning, it was 10 in my right eye and 12 in the left! Next appointment in 6 months. I am walking on air!

I’ve had similar improvements🥳 but not sure if it’s more to do with the eye drops than the op as it’s taken 2 years to improve & I only had the trab on 1 eye because I reacted to the anaesthetic drops. But isn’t it a great feeling!

It’s my pleasure to be able to share some good news! ( I have had some very dark moments since I was diagnosed 15 years ago).

I would say, if you’re offered laser, take it. It took only minutes to do, local anaesthetic, and absolutely no pain or discomfort. Apparently, it’s effective in about 75 per cent of people and can last about 5 years. Good luck!
