Yeast in bladder

I had a cystoscopy which revealed yeast in my bladder. I also have oral thrush and saw yellow mucus in my stool as well. I'm bloated a lot of times. The bladder yeast causing me immense pain and sometimes I feel just generally bad, like I'm dying or I'm a zombie. Did anyone experienced something like that? How did you get rid of it? I'm following the candida diet and taking fluconazole. Prior to this I took 4 antibiotics in 1,5 month and is always took probiotics as well with it

I notice my urine turns cloudy after about 1/2 hour. Also have had flare ups of oral thrush when I eat things that contain sugar. Is this your experience?

Maybe talk to your doctor if the fluconazole is not working. He/she might want to put you on something else.

I have my urine culture result and it's positive for bacteria (enterococcus faecalis).

It sounds like you need to go back to your doctor since the fluconazole would be ineffective against the bacteria.

You should revisit your doctor and discuss rethinking your case - it might be worth thinking more deeply about further diagnostic tests & treatments. This is certainly not something that should be neglected and can recur frequently.

He gave up on me, sent me to an MRI but i have to wait two months for that. I begged him to change my fluconazole to something else. He prescribed itraconazole but only 100 mg a day, but i felt it wasn't enough so i raised it to 200 mg. I took 100 mg for 3 weeks, only slight improvement, now i'm taking 200 mg at evening and the pain is gone, but still don't feel completely cured. Can is raise it to 300 mg? I did research on intraconazole and only 35 % is going to the bladder. I wouldn't be asking this questions, but i cannot get an answer out from my urologist and i went to second opinion but he was also clueless

I changed my medication, i'm taking itraconazole for five weeks now, i got a lot better, the pain is gone , only major discomfort feeling remained. I'm taking 200 mg a day, but thinking about raising it, so i asked my doctor but he seems clueless, doesn't know how to treat a fungal infection. It is safe if i go up to 300 mg? I asked one dermatologist, she said that i can take itraconazole for a long period of time, but i monthly have to check my liver function.

So my question is can is go with 300 mg a day ( 100 mg in the morning, two in the evening) for a month?
