Hi all. I’m looking for a little support. Over the past three years I feel my body has been breaking down. First my Achilles tendon tore, then my back started to throb and gradually got worse. Over the new year I contracted campylobacter food poisoning, over new year which has caused ibs symptoms and a wave of autoimmune reactions all down my right side, from joint inflammation to stiffness. I can barely walk now with my back and heel pain, I have palpitations, no appetite, I’ve lost 21lbs in 6 weeks, I have constant fatigue and my anxiety is through the roof. I have had to quit working and I feel I’m close to rock bottom. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

have you talked to neuro/psych,?
I'm late to the game here, but as the proud owner of 5 autoimmune diseases, you need to see a Rheumatologist. In 2020, I had severe COVID. I literally had no will to eat and lost 40 pounds in less than 6 months. I came out of it with all these issues and am fully disabled. I used to travel 5 days a week for work and am now bed ridden. I, too, have very rare disorders and diagnosing can take awhile. On disorder has only ever been found about 30 times, I have that. I'm certainly not a rock star, but maybe medically famous (joking).
im even later to the party but wondering how you are doing now? Give the rest of us hope? I already fekt i was circling the drain with a grocery list of chronic conditions including dysautonomia , AI tmrheumstic disease, madt cell problems, chrmical sensitivity, numerous food intolerwnces, weight loss etc. I had already lost another 10 percent body weight over 6 months from chronic diarrhea when was hit by bad food poisoning including very high frver and sever diarrhea. Didnt find the organism but suspect campylobacter or shigella because both known for producing the proctocolitis it caused. Ite been 4 weeks and my colon is all screwed up (i posted on it). I also wonder if I am having some kind of reactive arthritis as I’ve had a joint blow up and some minor joint flareups another joints I do know with autoimmune disease, every new side of injury or infection, seems to be a new playground for auto immune attack as well as a flareup of every disorder I’ve ever had
on your Achilles and you’re back, any chance you were on a quinolone anabiotic before those occurred?
I hope you can post about how you’re doing now especially recovering from this wretched camplobacter
