I am new here. I am Irish and lived in Ireland till I retired 20 years ago to live in Thailand. About 7 years ago Non Diabetic Neuropathy was confirmed.

Symptoms not severe in my feet. I was prescribed Neurontin 600 mg 3 times daily. This drug is a blessing. I do not understand why I have never heard anyone else talking about it.

Cheers everyone,

Philip

I too have Non Diabetic Neuropathy so far l have not been tempted to take medications. I do take Tumeric once a day. I will remember Neurontin 600 mg 3 times a day just in case l need something more. I am glad it is a blessing for you. Granni B

Hi, I hope you continue to keep it at bay. I was recommended to have physio therapy, and did for two years but it became very repetitive, so I changed to Ashtanga Yoga, which I enjoy very much and it keeps me loosened up. I do yoga on my own for 40 minutes every day.

I too am a fan of yoga. My balance is not good so l am careful while watching my Peggy Cappy DVDs... parts l just watch. No easy answers with neuropathy.

That is interesting as I was diagnosed with idiopathic neuropathy about six years ago and certainly wasn't offered Neurontin 600mg, just the usual crappy Gabapentin which I wouldn't take in a month of Sundays.

Sometimes I can almost forget I have it and other times it is miserable and my legs and feet feel absolutely awful, especially when I get out of bed.

Not what you're looking for?
