Not feeling great just wondered if anyone had any advice ,feel scared and alone and pretty pathetic ! Thank you

Yeah coming off any of these type of drugs cold turkey as you say is the worst thing to do. I'm on carbamazepine, I was on 1,200 mg a day and is taking me 7 months and I've still got 200mg to go before I'm off it. I got the Gamma Knife in may and I've not had a pain attack since February.

I've had TN for 7 years and I've tried all the drugs available to us first this curse. You will find what is best but don't give up and talk to as many people as possible about what treatments are available. Hope you have a good doctor and neuro consultant. You need them.

Thank you . I have no pain now as it was a trapped nerve in my neck. I don't take medication at all ,this was the first drug . my problem is my body is dependant on it according to my GP and I want to avoid the really harsh side effects. I still have periods of low mood and anxiety plus dizzy ,foggy head and fatigue. and tinitus Does anyone know if these will go and how long ?Thank you
