Has anyone bought a latex mattress, I have read a lot of reviews on them, and I desperately need a new mattress but unsure what to get, and want to make use of the sales at the moment

Find an at home 60 day trial of a water bed. I find it awesome can be adjusted for weight changes, is warm in winter and being water helps keep one cool in summer, always supports all of the body(when the correct amount of water is found.

Are you thinking of a memory foam mattress? If so, do you tend to overheat? If so, avoid them like the plague!, that's just my own experience though.......

Di you mean memory foam? I am awaiting delivery of this,so will let you know how I get on. But as I get very hot, I have ordered a cool max cover for it,which they tell me will stop this. So fingers crossed. Oh, for a good nights sleep! Lol

Hi,

Glad to hear that you have found a mattress to help relax your muscles, I looked around and thought I might find the memory foam too hot for me so I bought a latex mattress, but find that I still get up in the morning quite stiff, but my husband passed away last month and am putting that down to my Fibro being worse at the moment. I now have a spare divan so might try the memory foam mattress which will give me a choice.

I am moving soon to be nearer to my Son in Leicestershire, to a one bedroom cottage from a three bedroom house which is also causing me more stress having to downsize, but am looking forward to seeing more of my Grand Children.

Best Wishes,

Pat xxx

My other half had a memory foam mattress when I moved in with him and I hated it - it was too hot and not supportive enough. Thankfully it has now gone to the dump and we're using my orthopedic, fully sprung mattress again. My pain has reduced but he says it's too hard.

The moral of the story... Each to their own.

I had bought the bathroom rugs with nice quality foam thick. Gosh if feels wonderful. I bought it at Costco or SAMS club. It might be alot cheaper to just buy them . The have a nice thick soft cover my cats love it too. 4 cats. Maybe you can try those out. You can always use them for bath rugs later when you decide if u want the larger variety or mattress.
