Work capability assessment.

I've recently received my work capability assessment back and I've been rewarded the top one , I should be happy but you suddenly realise that's it I can't work anymore, I'm asking my self what's my life come too , I can't answer my questions myself. Then today I find out my manager has left so all the support and promises have now gone out of the window, I've got to have a meeting with my new manager because I've been off 28wks ,I no longer know what's going to happen. 😞

Well done on getting the assessment completed. There always seems to be a challenge with FND! I'm trying to focus on one day at a time, difficult as I've always been a planner. I've read enough accounts of people who have improved overtime to give me some hope, keep going!

Thank you , its been very difficult getting things sorted, now my next problem will be with work has my manager as now left so all the promises that was made to me have now gone out of the window, I very much delt that this now manager will be as helpful, I've got to have a meeting with him some time this week.

I've been rewarded limited work capability and work activities, in so many ward's I can't work any more because of my health issues.

Hi Littlecook, i do not know how it works in your country, but in the Netherlands they do a work assesment after one year of not working due to illness. Just after two years of sick leave they can start a procedure of getting you in another function or let you officialy go. So after 28 weaks for me sounds quik. Do you know what your rights are and your obligations? It's not helping you with the FND, but maybe gives u some financial release. It's hard to deal with this and feeling so miserable. I can relate to that. I wish you the best
