Private neurologist couldn't diagnose

So for the last 7 months I've been suffering with symptoms of feeling drunk/ dizzy, limb weakness, tremors, headaches of variable intensity, Stutter/ slurred speech, double/ Blurred vision, extreme fatigue (especially after any sort of exercise/ conversations/ social activity, I have a wave like sensation of tingling throughout my body from my scalp to my toes, quite intense shaking/ vibrations from inside my body? Some nausea, and more recently fainting/black outs as well as memory issues, and problems with finding words and problems figuring out how to complete even simple tasks. These symptoms obviously affect me living my normal life, working and attending my university course.I have been referred to an nhs neurologist but the wait is long. So I paid privately for the neurologist to basically say he didn't know what was wrong with me and that these symptoms could have been caused by a virus, stress, trauma or migranes ......

I'm feeling so frustrated and can't stop thinking about what my future looks like.

Have any of you that have been diagnosed with fnd had the same/ similar symptoms? And how did you get a diagnosis? Thank you in advance xxx

I was fortunate to get a likely diagnosis of fnd from an NHS neurologist at my first (and only) consultation ..confirmed 2 months later from a clear MRI. Did your neurologist test for the rule-in signs of FND? get an MRI done? Can you get back to him/her if they didn't? So sorry to hear of your struggles and concerns for your future, that must be exacerbating your symptoms. Best wishes

See link , which will in turn lead you to the 'rule in' signs of FND which are on the FND Action website.
