any advise: hi ,suffer with FND,GORD... - Functional Neurol...
any advise
Yes I have a dead heavy feeling in my arm , struggle to hold anything infront of me , like kettle etc , usually in right arm but can be in left too 😣
I suggest meditation ,cognitive behavioral therapy, and truly recognized your fnd ...you are truly in pain bc of fnd but it's psychological pain not biological pain and be very happy about that because biological is not good... you rather have psychological pain than biological pain biological pain leads to no good
My left side is not weak, it's been tested but I have numbness in leg and pins and needles in arm as well. I have to carry things with right arm, my leg doesn't respond as well, weird walk. Don't discount chest pain. I also have heart trouble, if I have a bad angina day, my FND symptoms are worse, more jerking. Therapy not available here. Take care.
I experience the 'dead arm' feeling too for my left side! It's been persistently there for I believe 2 years now, accompanied with pains in that shoulder. I sometimes get it on my right side too, although it isn't as severe. I usually hold my arm close to my chest to combat it, although if anyone here has found relief from it I'd love to hear!
