I have got problems with walking on my heels as well, because I have lost the ability to lift my feet up, i walk on the balls of my feet which is tiring and very uncomfortable

my walking symptoms have been going on for 6 years, my other symptoms for decades, yes i am in the uk and yes he has referred me to a specialist which is why i am seeing a neurologist tomorrow, and why I am so full of fear.
I AM sorry, i haven't got the energy at the moment to properly introduce myself, but I will asap...
Do keep in touch ... I have walking issues too a left leg I loose control of especially when tired. Then when my back spasms kick in as well, struggle put my heel down on that same leg....... So it rang a bell
It takes a long time, sometime
Eh ...to eliminate lots of various disorders as some have overlapping symptoms... but try to stay as positive as possible.
I was diagnosed with FND about 6 years ago too and have tried nerve pain type drugs etc and now my Neurologist is trying a Parkinson's tablet to see if this eases any of the many symptoms !
I saw the neurologist who said that all my symptoms could be caused by trauma, but that FND diagnosis is a diagnosis of elimination and so I agreed to have the dAT Scan, which will be in a few weeks time, and a few more weeks after that to get the results.
he also said that he was investigating me for a Parkinsonian Disorder and has referred me for neurophysiotherapy. All this means more months of terrible anxiety...
