Hydroxyzine does it help any of you?

I just got prescribed Hydroxyzine to help me sleep. I’m having blurry vision and feeling dizzy now and can’t sleep, should I take this or will it make my symptoms worse. Share your experience with this medication please 😊 Yes I know everyone is different but it helps to share

I don’t have experience with that one. I’ve had FND for 10 years and was able to be very functional with several periods of 100% remission. Well last year after 2 viruses in 1 week it came back worse than ever and I had to be put on Valium for sleep & also did Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation which helped even more. I was still getting muscle contractions all over my body even with Valium that made it tough to get proper rest. The TMS really settled things & improved my memory that also got bad when it flared last year.

I tried the hydroxyzine and it caused a fast irregular heartbeat and the sides of my mouth started feeling a little numb. It seems the only drug I can handle is Tylenol ☹️

Yes, I think our nervous systems are very sensitive. I would try Lavender capsules for sleep or possibly Saffron. I take Saffron during the daytime.

I like to smell the peppermint essential oils and listen to thunderstorms
