I have full body paralysis episodes which have lasted over 6 hours. Sometimes I spend the whole day drifting in and out of episodes.

Hi , sorry to hear you are suffering. I have various ‘auras ‘ before going into a dissociative seizure or full blown tonic/clinic seizure but one is an overwhelming feeling of heat & sweating especially of my head & neck. This accompanies great fatigue & weakness 😴 just before going into a semi-conscious state! Hope this helps for you to feel you are not alone..

That helps big time, thank you, I've noticed that I get a sweat on my brow and around my eyes and an episode comes on roughly an hour later, tiredness is a big issue and just the sheer volume of episodes is overwhelming me, I am finding it hard to comprehend at times, I've had a few meltdowns during this week but I'm in much better form now. Thanks again for your help.

You’re welcome 🙂. Having FND & NEAD completely changes your life & you’re not alone with having ‘melt downs’ from time to time! It’s such a debilitating and frustrating condition to live with. Just today I’ve had a dissociative seizure and found myself ‘locked up’ for several hours, luckily in bed! I was only able to move once my daughter came home to ‘unlock ‘ me and it’s taken a while to get my speech back properly 🙁. I know my brain is telling me I need to rest and build up my energy store. So I’m taking it easy in the hope of being up to seeing our friends tomorrow!🛌💤 Take care.
