Hi,

Has anyone had good success with acupuncture for FND? I’ve used it in the past, but this recent flare has been my worst with daily tics, tongue spasms, muscle twitching, and daily restless leg feeling that is all day. I’m looking for hope! Thanks

Hi,

I know there have not been any replies and was wondering if you tried Acupuncture and if it was successful, and if you have any recommendations?

Helen,

It wasn’t this flare up, but had in the past. It’s worth trying. I was in really bad shape after having remission for 2 years, so we ended up on Valium for sleep because I would shake all night long and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to further help memory, muscle spasms all over my body, and fatigue.

I tried acupuncture and it was not helpful for me. It stressed me out to sit there with needles in me, but I’m stressed out by needles anyway so maybe it would help you, but it did nothing for me
