new to NFD and how the heck do we all carry on at times

well after 15 years of beiong told i have ms then to be told 3 years ago they didnt think it was now 18 years in total new neuroligist and he thinks i may have nfd .. he is now asking for all my brain scans from 18 years ago up till now as at one point i did have lesions on my brain.. to see whats what this is soul destroying from the blank episodes to pain and spasams fatigue and falls and weekness down my left side to loosing part of my sight in left eye..all in the last 18 years ... i feel like saying is omg how the hell do i keep going at times is unreal ... its unbearable at times .. never even heard of NFD so new to this ...my heart goes out to everyone with this xx

I’m very sorry you are going through this it must be scary. I think ask the neurologist if you have ms and fnd as quite a few people do 🙂

I think you mean FND. There is a book called Functional Neurologic Disorders, volume 139 of the Handbook of Clinical Neurology, that is worth reading or listening to. It is worth the $220 price.

ohh yeh lol FND this is another thing i suffer from i have o levels in maths and english yet when writing or typing my words get jumbled and spelling is bad this only started 15 years ago.. and thats fustrating to
