Headaches 2 weeks still after falls - should I be worried

I am at a loss what to do.

Son suffers from Chronic pain and FND, described his head pain like his brain is loose in his skull and moving quickly side to side hitting walls of skull (concussion symptoms I believe).

He thought he tripped but then several days later had another fall and hurt his knee, doesn't remember much before. Both times from standing.

Its now two and half weeks later, head pain very evident in morning and dies down in late afternoon and doesn't bother him at all in evening now.

We are waiting Talking Therapy but I feel I should be doing more but at a loss and a tad emotional today.

No, not got anything to test at home. How does that help?

Hi, I probably didn't explain myself correctly on my post, the "from standing" bit was just to say he had his falls on one level, and hit his head on carpet, so not too much impact. I found him spark out, as usual (unfortunately) so checked him over "re head injury" and helped him back into bed.He did feel dizzy getting up first thing and has to go on his hands and knees to bathroom until he is able to get round properly when it eases up later.

He is just lying in bed, he may of been able to walk last time but as head "same" maybe not. Checked out the condition but doesn't have the other symptoms but thanks for advice.

Maybe I could use a blood pressure monitor before getting him to stand up.

Ok, thanks. Considering buying the Vital one, got good reviews x

Ok thanks, noted. We have just checked ours now and seems within the range.

I had blood pressure checked Fri, standing, sitting and lying down and we checked our hearbeats too, all within the normal range but thanks for advice.

Perhaps this may be helpful for you… my husband, even before his FND diagnosis, lived with chronic pain. A pain management dr recommmended a neurostimulator - hard-wited into his spinal cord at the location that ‘manages’ his specific pain. This device ‘translates’ chronic pain into vibration, and has significantly reduced his chronic pain.

He’s had the neurostim for 10 years; after 7 years there was a procedure to teplace the battery. This has significantly enhanced his quality of life.

Thanks, I am glad that helps manage his pain, it must be in intense and hugs to you too its hard seeing loved ones in pain.I feel that brain retraining and talking therapy are our next steps, just awaiting referral for latter.
