My husband had same op last year. Both flexicover and staysure provide cover and allow us to remove this from cover ( declared but not covered). Ibladder cancer can not reappear as no bladder and if it appeared anywhere else .even if at home unlikely to get an hospital appointment under 2 weeks. We are both pensioners and got cover for single trip in Europe this year for £ 75

Hope this helps

Bag was fine on plane. And in the heat. We were a bit concerned if might need multiple changes with heat and swimming, but was fine changed once a day- mostly for peace of mind.

You need the adhesive removal wipes for plane travel just in case a change of bag needed, as saves lengthy questions if carrying spray. If go through X-ray the bag will show up, but staff more embarrassed than us when enquired

If you don't want to take night stand pin a pillowcase to the mattress/sheet.

Hope this all helpful
