Best to wait for appointment... i know it's hard and waiting is the worst part... Thinking of you

11 july i still feel its too long to wait do u thin 274 is high in urine result for rbc wbc x
Still quite a while to wait...im no expert on urine but go to your own doctor and get urine tested as I still went to my own doctor too while attending hospital

Hello jazanne, although I'm sorry I can't help with your wbc and rbc counts, I can so empathise with how worried you must be. I've just been to hospital for pre-op assessment today in readiness for op next Monday to remove what they are sure is a bladder tumour. Another shock I received whilst there was that my urine function (eGFR) has plummeted from 38 to 28 with creatinine increasing from 123 to 154 in just a few days. Have just a sole kidney so the hospital arranged an emergency referral to my renal consultant tomorrow who deals with my blood pressure treatment. I doubled the dose of Losartan 6 months ago so the renal consultant has to advise re that medication. He won't be happy as it is the 8th BP pill he has tried me on with most of them causing nasty side effects.
11th July does seem a long wait for you - I was fast tracked to the first consultation within 2 weeks, although it does seem to have been a bit of a slow coach to China since then. Lots of good luck wishes.
hi did you have uti or blood in urine, are you in scotland just when i seen the name celtic lol am in scotland , all the best with your treatment x
Many thanks.
I've had thre UTI's in 4 months- most unusual for me. Apparently blood has been noted on a couple of the specimens although not noticed by me.
Not fro Scotland - born in Wales but lived in England since the age of three.
i have had bladder cancer and after one year of remission before i got the bc, i had a uti. after i was in remission from bc, the ut's came back for months one after another. i thought i had bc again, but the bladder is fine. one thing i learned was to do everything i could to control the ut's: water, cleanliness, physical therapy for the bladder, wearing pads less time. also, that there is an antibacterial medication that you can take daily to ward off the infections, but i did not start to take it, since i haven't had a uti since january 2017.
as for waiting until july 11, that is a long time to be anxious. call the uro every day and see if someone has cancelled. maybe you can get in earlier that way.
i'm not sure about the numbers since it's been 2.5 years since i had the cancer.
