On going bladder cancer issues.

Had a tumour removed December 2015 still a bit left as they could not get it all, secondaries had spread to the lungs, I have had Radiotherapy on the bladder and Chemotherapy for the lungs. 2 scans have confirmed the Cancer of the lungs is halted. I am going in on the 10th November for a TURBT under general anaesthetic as I have been passing blood in the urine for almost 2 months, thankfully mostly light bleeds. I have had a catheter in since December last. It is stressful at times but my faith in God brings me through and is filling me with a positive Spirit. I am being treated in the Belfast Cancer Center. The medical staff are great. Thinking and praying for you all.

Unfortunately with cancer we experience these long waits for reports, that is the nature of the illness. I have great faith in God and the medical staff who are treating me. I have no fear for the future and am supported by my wife and soul mate who looks after me. In our prayers .

Hi Everyone!! I too have had to deal with this cancer and have had some real tough situations. The chemo they put in my bladder had my bladder totally raw. The pain was unreal. But by the GRACE OF GOD, I'm doing Great. I believe you will get these same results because of your faith in God. Remember the woman with the issue of blood? If she could just touch the hem of Jesus garment, she would be made whole. That's FAITH and you have that! I can't wait to hear your healing report! It's gonna be sooooo awesome. God bless you always, and I'll keep reading for your report.

Isn't it wonderful knowing that with CHRIST ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!! You sir remind me of JOB(when this test is over, I shall come out as GOLD) Keep trusting GOD! He will never let you down. He's faithful and just. I have no doubt whatsoever that GOD will heal your body just as he did mine. If he did it for me (and he did) he'll do it for you. You are very inspiring my friend and my husband and I will keep you and your family lifted in CHRIST!!!

Many Blessings to you and your family too! I believe it when Jesus said by his stripes we WERE healed, meaning it's already done. My husband Lee had colon cancer twice and stomach cancer that went thru every layer of his stomach. Trusting God, he stood on HIS word no matter the circumstances. It's 10 years later and he's cancer free and super healthy. When I was diagnosed with bladder cancer, I was not afraid because I knew GOD was with me too. It helped to watch my husband's faith in God, it gave me strength knowing GOD would do it for me too. The same for us ALL. TRUST GOD FOR YOUR HEALING!!!!!! HE LOVES US ALL!!!!

I was in hospital on Thursday 10th November, fasted and ready to go. the TURBT was done, I was given a spinal a new experience, a curtain was put up, I couldn't see what they were doing, I had no pain or discomfort, after 2 hours in recovery I was admitted. the doctor said he found 3 sites that could be the cause of the bleeds, these were sealed, no bleeding since, he did some scraping. We have a meeting with him next Friday so we hope to get more information. I was told my bladder had shrunk so it would only hold 100ml, they tried a catheter withdrawal but after more than 2 hours and running to the toilet every 10 minutes and the bladder still retaining it was decided to put the cathater back. I feel like the Apostle Paul with the thorn in his flesh, the cathater reminds me daily of my need of Jesus and His grace, I thank God every day for His gift of life and the health and strength to face the day. He has granted me a positive spirit so I live in His blessed hope for the future. God bless you all and thank you all for your messages and prayers for in them I find hope and blessing.

God is great, I am so thankful to Him each new day, through Him and because of Him I can face whatever cancer brings. I am waiting for the biopsy results from the TURBT done just over a week ago. Thank you Jesus for looking after me, my prayer is that He is close to you and your husband. Be blessed.

Update: I have seen the Oncologist and have been told the biopsy result on the TURBT did not find any active cancer in the bladder, the Cancer on the lungs is stable, all good news and I believe is answered prayer. 11 months ago before the treatment I was told "without any treatment I would have upto eleven months to live", praise God the treatment worked and I have a future, more time with the 14 grandchildren. I am also encouraged my all of you in this community for we are helping each other. God bless you all, still praying for you.
