While I have NO experience using POMI T for recurrence....there is some evidence from a randomised double blind study in the UK....see below:

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

This was for people doing AS or WW ...clearly, further studies were indicated....

vilicona,

In addition to what Mr. Science Don Pescado provided here is my take.

I assume you have seen Dr. Greger's video on how POMI-T came to be formulated. If not, you should watch it. You can find it here:

Best Supplements for Prostate Cancer

I am a proponent of the concept that Synergy = Potentiation and for several years have taken a daily 30 mg scoop of a 10 component plant powder mix that includes Pomegranate FRUIT powder, Turmeric (source for curcumin), and a small amount of black pepper along with the other 7 ingredients. Along with the plant powder mix I am taking green tea extract (50% EGCG) capsules, drinking a cup of green tea, and eating a sandwich with broccoli sprouts. That combo includes some form of all the components of the POMI-T capsules. (Since I also have a blood cancer, CLL, I have been supplementing with EGCG and curcumin for most of the last 14 years.)

Have the POMI-T ingredients caused my PSA to drop? Well, since I also take a lot of other supplements during the day, I have no way of knowing. In my case, I did three months of ADT (Fall 2017) when I had a biochemical recurrence in early 2016 after RALP + IMRT in 2013-14. I got a great response to ADT (Luron + bicaludamide flash bridge) and have been off treatment for + 2 1/2 years now. My PSA since going off ADT has continued to be "undetectable" in the <0.1 range (last two more accurate labs @ 0.06 and 0.05). I started using the current plant powder mix at the same time I started ADT. Considering the large array of other supplements, the extent that the specific ingredients of the POMI-T formula have had in maintaining that level is unknown and unknowable. FWIW, I have come to believe that cancer(s) are driven to some extent by inflammation, glycolysis, cholesterol, and hormone imbalance. Any diet and lifestyle changes that have a positive effect on these is a good start. Supplements, by their name, are supplemental to the positive effects gained by those actions.

Not a direct answer to your question, but I hope it helps. Be Well - cujoe
