POMI T seems to work fine. In my case it appears that PSA stopped its velocity

My first MO at MD Anderson recommended this as well as Zyflamend and metformin

did Zyflamend work? or the combination?

I attribute my undetectable PSA solely to ADT (Eligard/Abiraterone/dex) and debulking IMRT. The supplements may or may not help but it’s unlikely they hurt. I do stop them prior to avoid any labs to false readings, especially with PSA.

vlicona.

This Dr. Greger (Nutritionfacts.org) video explains how POMI-T came to be - and argues that the diversity of foods (and their extracted components) may be more important than the quantity of individual foods/food components; i.e., synergy may be the key to effectiveness.

I've never taken POMI-T, but based on this and other NutritionFacts videos, i started consuming broccoli sprouts, curcumin (& turmeric). green tea (both EGCG extract and hot tea), along with a plant mix that includes pomegranate FRUIT powder (along with other plant powders). In one form or another, they all go into my morning smoothie and I can probably buy a four month supply of a significantly larger dosage of each for less than the price of one 30-day supply of POMI-T.

Sprouts are also used in daily salads (BTW, sprouts have WAY more "activated" sulforaphane than does broccoli, raw or cooked) and turmeric is added to soups and other cooked dishes. Green tea is my beverage of choice and, in addition to the morning smoothies, pomegranate powder shows up in homemade almond yogurt fruit deserts several times a week. (You can even add it to almond milk to make a pretty tasty beverage.)

It's been working for me for the last four years or so. Be safe - K9

vlicona,

Pomegrante whole fruit powder is a bit hard to come by, as much pomegranate powder is from freeze-dried juice. I get mine (non-organic) lately from a company called Indus Farms. They also sell some other plant powders at reasonable prices.

You might also want to look into the research on organic apple peel powder and PCa. It is equally difficult to come by and the only two sources I have found for it are from a company called Organic Traditions and via their own brand @ The Health Ranger Store. I also use it as one of the 10 ingredients in my plant powder mix.

PS I agree with 6357axbz on the advice on stopping supplements (which includes plant powders) several days (or up to a week) before having labs done. I usually stop them all three days prior. As has been stated here and elsewhere, we are treating PCa and not PSA. Ciao - K9

I have been on Pomi T for about 5 years now. Not sure whether it has made any difference. Only time my PSA went down was after I added vitamin D3 and K2 (taken at different times) to my regime. Good luck.

Thanks a lot. Besides POMI T, I am under a srtict diet with reduced sugar, no red meat or dairy products. The thing is that my PSA was doubling every three months for about a year, from .03 to. 23 in one year. I started POMI T and at first, my PSA went to .30 and now it has been dropping. Have to say I had a Prostate removal two year ago. Because of my age ( 76) I really want to escape radiation or Chemo. Any one has advice?
