December 2008, biopsy prostate indicated cancer with a PSA 13. Have a Gleason of 7. February 2009, had prostate remove robotic surgery. PSA dropped to .01 for 8 years until August of 2017, PSA rose to .8. I had 39 sessions of Radiation. PSA dropped to .01 until May of 2019 rose to .6. October 22, 2019, went to UCLA, I had a 68G PSMA Pet Scan. Indicated active cancer cells. Meeting with doctor in a week to decide on radiation or not. I am assuming I will be get radiation. I will post our decision and results.

On 7/15/2019, I fell off a 12 foot ladder, had 18” chainsaw blasting, kicked me off the ladder as I was trimming the hedges. I broke my femur, hip and shoulder. Rods in my femur and hip. Walkers, crutches , canes. 4 months. 5 days a week in therapy, while fighting this cancer . One week ago, I knew I had a problem, I put my foot on ground and I couldn’t walked. Called my doctor, X-rays showed one of titanium rods were broken. Surgery yesterday, he found a screw which broke off and ended up in my knee. He had to remove all hardware, two titanium, 3 screws and replace them. Pulling out all the titanium rods out of center of my femur and hip, rocked my world. Came within a inch of breaking my neck.
I’m confined to bed today. Looking to go home Friday.
If I am able, December 3, I will see my Rad Ur, and see when I can come in radiant the cancer.
Hey guy, my body doesn’t seem to know your timeline. Sometimes, shxx just happens. I have been overwhelmed by pain, not sleeping for days. I will stop here before my pain says something not nice. I don’t respond well with pain or someone I don’t know, thinking I owe him a response . “hey guy” doesn’t work for me.
On 7/15/2019, fell off 12’ ladder onto my concrete patio. After several surgeries because the titanium rods broke and I got Sepsis, I had to postpone my radiation for 30 days while I’m in the Sepsis treatment. Hoping we will be able to radiate the active cancer cells in January indicated by the 68G PSMA Pet/Cat Scan in November. My PSA is .5, which has been slow in growth and activity for the last 8 months. The Sepsis rocked my world, came close to checking out, but I made it. Merry Christmas
