A lad asks his granny, 'Have you seen my pills? They were labelled LSD'
Granny replies, 'Never mind the pills, have you seen the dragons in the kitchen?!'

Noooo don't mention dragons when foggy is around...... Runs and hides.......
That's Idris in the picture!
Raaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Good one.
Great one. Mind you it reminds me of 2 things, one, we call my mum the Welsh dragon. She is the best and most helpful mum and I, nor my daughter could survive without her help
The other is in my youth, 20 years ago, and I was out clubbing. A lad I went to school with who was well built was in there and he had become a shadow of himself. He had obviously taken LSD or similar and thought he was a dog. He was on all fours barking. If it hadn't have been so sad knowing him, he looked hilarious. He went to bite bouncers trying to get him out and we called for police and ambulance.
Luckily years on, he is doing well with 4 kids and no dogs in sight.
Note to youngsters LSD and others are not worth it.
Still a good one
LSD is a pretty nasty substance - it was the fashionable recreational drug back in the 60's when I started nursing. If the Rolling Stones and the Beatles took it, then every sprog felt they needed to try some - hence 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds'!
Almost daily we would treat someone who was having a 'bad trip' from taking the stuff, and there were fatalities and long lasting psychoses as a result.
I am still trying to work out why anyone who is not in pain would want to take any drugs at all - apart from the odd G&T, of course.
It is mind bogleing WHY anyone would want to take these things !!! but if homeless people take it ! it must be a way to escape the terrable situation that theyer in and others alike ?? but its not the answere is it ??
But that was very funny (the Granny) it did give me a laugh !!!!!
Good one!xx
Hahaaaa very good LOL , thanks for the giggle x
A lot of the medications we have to take daily to function as best as we ca are high currency in prisons. Many of the inpatients I come across have been taking meds not prescribed to them, mostly tramadol, gabapentin and pregablin as well as any medication they may already be taking. A lot of of the inpatients we deal with have mental health problems, mostly drug induced psychosis.
On a lighter note, loved the joke
Wow, malwimmy - do you work at HMP Albany? You are very brave!
I worked at one of the Priory hospitals, and we saw a lot of marijuana-induced psychosis - so much for it being harmless!
Actually the 'home-grown green' as widely used in the 60's was probably nowhere near as powerful or harmful as the genetically modified 'super skunk' that is on the streets these days. That stuff is causing major problems among today's users.
hi,dont forget dringk and fags are drugs to...x
Amazing how a great joke, and it was, can turn up such comments. I think it must be because you are all caring people.
