I had a friend come and see me as he was off ill with his back .... and wanted to talk about my illness as my back is part of it ...and cutting to the chase and he had been out with a Doctor how dose ESA medicals.....had i gone for it yet i said yes but got no points at all.. my IBS had hit me at my medical and messed my self as could not get to tolet as been waiting so long to be scean this got no point...? i blacked out when she pull me about on movement with my neck this got me no point..and so on...he smiled..you want They dont get paid if they pass you..they have targets ..so how can you win when they are fakeing are tests so we dont pass so they get paid...i did pass this on th sky news ..but have not got any feed back..i am on face book Michael Butterfield how can wr blow the top off this..

I have also heard this and thought the same - it needs to be made public knowledge but how you go about it I just don't know.

I was lucky, I got letters from my pain team, my doctor and other professionals and sent them in with my form. I other problems aswell as the fibro and had passed the medical for incapacity benefit so I didn't get called in by atos - I still got put in the work related group though - guessing somebody still got paid for that

my GP said i had Fibro and its took some time to get this far the artharitus speacilist could not help me he said and is sending a letter to the GP it get him to send me to see a Fibro Doc at James Padget Hospital...and to pain management this may help ive filled a form in for Kings Collage London they are looking for people with Fibro you fill in about your pain and they send a kit for blood test for them to look at Geins or some thing it my help others keep in touch and take care thank for you reply...Mike

I had it last year doc at medical told me he wouldn't b giving me a medical as he could see I wad in a bad way ,then failed me ,said I could walk at least a mile un aided I walk with sticks there all on the take,I'm taking a solicitor with me for ESA assessment,

I think the easiest way out is to have all your medical backup form the getgo, by this I mean to send in with the very first form. I did not have all of this as most of my ongoing illnesses have been diagnosed and I no longer see consutlants. The ATOS doctor I saw put for every illness mentioned 'DOES NOT SEE CONSULTANT' and never bothered to put that I was referred back to GP for ongoing care. And bingo, no ESA for me. Now my daughter was a different story. I had all her medical backup including a newspaper front page incident stating how she was found collapsed in a quiet layby, three hours after going out for crisps. They could not ignore the severity of her illness and she went from Incapacity to ESA no medical and no further questions asked. So I think it depends on what you have to hand with that first form prior to any medicals etc. I remember the story of the ATOS nurse that quit her job and she came forward to state she could not do the job as she had been told to fail people who are genuinely ill. Good n her for coming forward, but we needs more of these people who are being forced to do this to come forward, that is the only way they are going to blow this all apart. But I cannot see this happening anytims soon. if I everh ave to claim ESA again I will be ready for them, but for now I am okay with the benefits I get. The fact people are being ignored makes me sick xxxxx

I think the National newspapers would be your best bet and maybe writing to the one of the directors of programs such as the BBC watch dog or Panarama...the more people bring this out into the open the better ...one lonely voice in the wilderness will not make a scrap of difference..and lets face it this Government have employed ATOS to undertake these medicals...and its the Government that want to reduce the number of welfare benefits they hand out...all the twaddle they try to tell us the British public about only those who are 'really severely disabled' will be the ones to benefit and wont be affected by the welfare reforms....Well if what is being said here that they have quotas to meet...I have even heard of severely disabled people had their benefits taken off them....What needs to be done should be en masse so to speak...Because it seems to me that only people like ourselves really cares..All the government will do is deny that ATOS have quotas to meet....it also needs a 'whistle blower' to uncover and bring out the truth....otherwise ....we have not got a leg to stand on...! I have lost so much faith in this government and in my MP....they rob those with disabilities and are vulnerable but think nothing of robbing the British Tax payer claiming MP's expenses fraudulently....There are rules for one and a different rule for the other...! I keep bringing this up with my MP but I dont get anywhere and sometimes not even a reply...!!! So who can one turn to in the end?????

Rock on Bev, bring on the revolution... Its about time the people knew how the goverment manipulate, dictate and cook the books to make it look like their policies work and hit targets and promises..... Well if they did surely there would be no forums like this...... Wake up its all a cop out.... sleep tight....

Well its true...but unless people like us get someone who counts on our side ATOS will continue to take benefits away from people...I only heard today about two factories making redundancies well over 200 losing their jobs...so someone tell me where are these jobs the Politicians and our dear PM goes on about...maybe he would have us all sweeping the streets sat in our wheelchairs to save councils money....A revolution is maybe what it will take...and I can see it coming...I will be in the front row!!!
