It means you will have to attend regular interviews with an aim to getting you back to work Sammy.

The support group for ESA is the only one where you're not expected to be able to work at some point .

Hi I too am in the '' work related capability group'' but have been informed that I can appeal to be put in the ''support group'' although it may fail I might just try ....hope all is well with you x

thanks ive not been placed in any of these yet.but went online and scored 86 points so they think this is what i should be in instead of nil points x

Where can you go online to do this please Sammy? I'm in the middle group (I think) limited capacity for work. Even when I was in the work related group, I was never actually called for an interview!

If you are in the Work Related Activity Group it also means you only receive it for 12 months before it becomes means tested.To get in the support group It doesn't matter how many points you receive at assessment it depends on whether you meet any one of the 16 support group criteria which aren't point based. ps I was put into WRAG and asked them to reconsider and pointed out which of the Support group descriptors I met and why and they then moved me into support group.
