Hi Sherry,

Yes I have and no it doesn't. I must've taken everything suggested for sleep.

Dr Rodger Murphree, a chiropractor recomends 5HPT. His book treating and beating fibromyalgia is worth looking at.

Also google accupressure for insomnia, they have some good tips, like putting a kidney bean over accupoint in wrist during the night.

Have you had a sleep study done to rule out sleep apnea?

Keep trying! If you find an answer please let me know and I'll love you forever!

Lots of love

Yes, I do! I'm finding nutmeg seems to help with sleeping, I take both a supplement and grind fresh into milk and steep in warm milk.

I finally saw a qualified herbalist and after nearly 3 hours of consultation, she drew up a plan for me to try. I have been grain free for some months now, using my herbalists prescribed meds, and at her recommendation, have also been trying some supplements, such as the nutmeg.

I am feeling better but I wouldn't like to say for sure, exactly why. It might be just that since it is warmer, cough*cough*, than it was in the winter, that I have less pain. It might be down to one of the supplements, the change of diet, or any number of things. It might also be something to do with feeling I'm helping myself, a sort of placebo, I just don't know.

I do know that I'm sticking with some of the diet changes, I'm just re-introducing rice to my diet so things might change again.

The supplements I can't afford to keep with but the herbal things that I can make for myself, my herbalist has offered to teach me how to grow , harvest and use. I'm very lucky, she has a huge heart and is guided by that rather than the money, although I'll recommend her to my friends any day!!

If you can afford to and have the interest, I'd say do your homework and find a qualified and reputable herbalist.
