are u aware of carers allowance....

I have a friend that is a single mum and doesnt work i sent for carers allowance forms from the council. they pay her fifty pounds a week to help me . she uses it to help feed us both. she is allowed16 hours a week and it does not affect any of her benefits. my sister in wlwyn applied to look after her husbandthey both do not workthe council removed eight pounds from there benefit each week btpaid them fifty. perhaps worth looking into for some of you evey bit heps you just fill in forms sign them and they pay the carer direct can be back dated for about three months dpending on council. this care isover and above care plans from dwp .i was nervous toapply but it has been worth it. penny also is on hand when i have to dress or shower althoshe is not hands on lol. if youdont ask you dont get... butterfly wings fluttering happily today petal

I am interested in this but you are wales? And the system maybe different here in leeds, only as although i DO technicaly wrk as i run my own wrk, i do quotes, chauffeur girls, check wrk etc but the physical side is main bit for me which has become almost unbearable with the heaviness, the hands arms climbimg stairs day in day out so at home my hubby after his long day does most of chores cooking and washing and hoovering. I do try and do best i can but everything hurts ! It is upsetting and frustrating as in 2yrs my life has been turned around. I have not tried to claim anything and when i read disability forms it makes me have 2nd thought because the way they make it sound is as if you cant get out bed let alone walk!! I drive a lot and that in itself can be difficult, clutch, gears steering even in good car as they ache and hurt. So be interested to see if i could. I am waiting brain MRI results yet so will ask Dr's if they wil back me up as kept all medical appointments etc. xxxx

Go to direct gov .com type in carers allowance also type independent living fund and department care . This site is a mine of info on benefits etc p
