Accupuncture

Im finally going to be having accupuncture next month im wondering if this works has anyone had this?

Hi Amiejo, i had accupuncture about 5 years ago, and for me it dident work, but we are all different and some things that works for some doesnt work for others,i no that it has worked for many people on here,so i would sugest to just go with an open mind, good luck love and gentle hugs xxxx

i had it about 6 yrs ago it worked for a month then i was same again but like jayjay says we are all different

I had this with great success, although apart from fibromyalgia, I slipped 2 disc years ago, which ended my career in nursing, and every so often I went for acupuncture. It really did wonders for my back, but haven't had it for fibro up to now

I had it for carpal tunnel, it never worked for me, but try anything, we are all different. ggod luck. xx

Hi, i had it a year ago for neck pain it worked for a couple of months but the pain came back again, :0) x

The evidence suggests that acupuncture can help relieve Fibro pain in some people, but that benefits tend to be short-lived, so it's not a good long-term therapy.

Hi Amiejo, I had a course of acupuncture some time ago and it did help. However, it was on the NHS and they only give you something like 6 sessions which is really not enough. Its something you need to keep on having to keep feeling the effects. xx

hi hun i had accupuncture last week an was in worse constent pain for nearly a week , saying i went there for pain relief not worse pain go back tomorrow to see nurse an tell her wots happend to me, an see wot she says if to continuie
