gums!

this last week ive had a few problems with my gums like lumps and bumps been to dentist 2 weeks ago for a filling and was alright then so i ask is this a fm thing?

I dont have bumps exactly my gums get very swollen, painful and red and bleed badly sometimes when I brush my teeth.

I tend to put everything down to FM ;o)

i googled this question coz my dentist said i had some gum desease and fm can cause dental problems.

yes I do get awfully painful gums they 'itch' bleed swell up with blood pockets. feel like ive got food stuck but theres nothing there! I use a mouthwash if they are too painfull to brush or are bleeding too much. My dentist advised a soft brush so ive changed to one and even tho i dont feel as clean (hence the mouthwash) they dont bleed quite as much. Ive no fillings of which im proud of, im 43 this August too

wow well done flips thats a fantastic acheivement ! and yes they do feel like pockets with blood in cant see them but feel them with my tongue
