Seen opticians Mar last year for annual review as I had come off a lot of strong medications over 25 years. Also in Dec 24 as I had a lot of eyesight changes again. Now eyesight is not correct again. Also in last few weeks started eye itchiness and very sore and also sensitivity to light, smells and smoke etc. Any suggestions please.

Hi, maybe dry eye ? Not unusual at this time of the year due to the central heating amongst other things. Or even a slight eye infection.

If it continues maybe a chat to your GP or your local pharmacist may br the way to go.

Hiya. Got diagnosed today with blepharitis anteriorly and also dry eye. Given blephaclean wipes, hycosan extra lubricating drops and warm compresses just before bed and possibly a course of chloramphenicol if needed. Then review appt in 3 weeks or so as eyesight may change again too.

I have very dry eye also and it's taken quite a few drops to get the right one to help my eyes. Are eye problems related to fibromyalgia? I also find the heat pad good on a night. Xx

I agree with Dizzytwo, another option would be to see an Optometrist. They can look at your eyes and have more experience and knowledge than the Opticians.Hope you feel better soon ❤️

I use hyabak drops and xalin ointment prescribed by my GP. Had problems for 30 yrs now. Very very sensitive to light.

hi I have exactly the same symptoms, especially the sensitivity to light which sent my head into a spin, made an appointment to see my optometrist and I’ve been diagnosed with glaucoma I would suggest you make an appointment to see your optometrist.
