Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing okay, i just have been wondering what on earth to do college course wise, work wise, i want to work but dont know where to start and you tell some places you have fibro and no thanks. I really want to go to college as well and find a little job i can do, it really gets me down how fibro changed everything, missing being at cranfield, missing friends, being at home all the time and all the other funny things you get with fibro etc. Sorry for ranting its just how i feel sometimes, any advice is welcomed x❤️

Advice on working /college courses, looking for work with fibromyalgia...
Hi there, I see you have asked this question numerous times now. May I ask have none of the many replies been helpful to you at all.
It may help if you refreshed your mind and went over some of the kind replies and support you were given in your previous posts maybe?
I am sure many of us who are or have been in your position can empathise with how you feel. I hope you find yourself in a position where you can start and take on board some of the wonderful advice you have already received.
Best wishes

College choices etc.Find a study or studies that are not mentally or physically over taxing as such.
Try to evaluate a pace you can handle.
Writing is a wonderful stimulation for the mind body & soul etc.
To much emotionally stressed or trauma is like Liting the fuse to a multiple of flare ups.
Don't let fibromyalgia get you down & make you start living in a box.
Working with outdoor nature is a happy release but tick your own personal boxes on what you can and cannot do at this point in time.
Kindest Regards Terry
Hi fibrogirl
Have you ever thought about giving some voluntary work a go? Like a befriending service for instance for adults, elderly or learning disabilities.
Some are a mix of face to face, media, or a simple phone call just checking in with someone asking how they are.
Obviously with it being voluntary you only give what you can manage but I know people get a lot out of it.
It could be a small stepping stone for you to help build up your confidence, while helping others. Two birds, one stone as they say.
Just a thought 😊
