Hi, I am on max dose for sulfasalazine, but still having flare ups and very stiff painful arthritis . My consultant has suggested mextrate along side to try . If in a couple of months has not got better. Can anyone let me know if it helps .

You may find it more useful to ask this question on an arthritis forum - as these medications are not going to be prescribed for someone with fibromyalgia (unless they have both)
