Hello everyone, I received a text saying we awarded you PIP and a letter will follow plz allow 2 weeks... my question is, how soon will I start getting paid if anyone had the same experience please?

Keep checking your bank account as could be anyway, and they do give back payment also

You will be awarded from the day you applied so all Payments will be backdated. Well done 👍

ok thanku i had telephone assessment on 11 aug i got a letter on 2 sept saying they hve all the info they need to make a decision very anxious about the whole process

Update:I did receive a nice sum this morning into my account as I applied Nov22, thank you so much guys for your replies and kind reassuring

Hi YMP.

I had to reapply 9months ago for PiP & twice they've sent a text.1st was a text to say they have my paper work this was in January this year & the 2nd was 6 months later to say they still were processing my forms & my current award ends in late January so if they want me to jump through hoops & do back flips they're cutting it fine & I think I will give them the rest of this month & then chase them as they're supposed to give me notice 3 months before end date of previous award.

Keep an eye on your Bank account, sometimes you get paid before you get the letters.
