Hello. I think we totally understand your frustration s of daily life pushing to work threw another day and feeling where do I go from here, fmauk .org has online information and also a helpline to speak to someone, is this a road you have gone down yet ? Ways of looking to get help and even reducing your hours , just a thought .

Yes I understand how hard it can be. I have been in the same situation for nearly 15yrs. Working through the pain and exhaustion to pay the mortgage / support my family. I find life outside of work is very limited as I am mostly recovering from work in order to be able to go back the next day / week.

A side from winning lotto what else can we do?

I'm in Australia so no disability support for fibromyalgia.

Sorry to not offer a solution, I don't think there is one, but you are not alone / I feel your pains.

Sorry no solution from me either but plenty of empathy, you are definitely not alone!

It's blinking hard though isn't it?

I do think there will come a point when our bodies will take the decision out of our hands and make that decision for us but until then I'll keep plodding on .......

Yeah cognitive issues are a nightmare! If I'm not dropping fumbling or batting something about I'm falling over the bl**dy thing! Used to chastise OH for being clumsy😳🤣🤣

Hiya Davey,

We are all experiencing the same sort of stuff and you just have to remember that you're not alone. A phone call to the CAB might be able to give you some advice on benefits you could apply for. PIP is one benefit I'd recommend might help a little.
