Hello. I know that every person's symptoms and daily experiences with Fibro vary. As for me, it is a daily reminder of having the diagnosis. As long as my pain/symptoms stay around a level 3-4, I can get some things done; shopping, mowing (half the yard lol), cleaning etc. Sometimes, I can even ride a bike for 15 minutes π. Obviously, not everything in one day. But as most of us here know, that when it is around a 6 or 7, doing the dishes turns into a full day's task.
My question is, how do the people that have continously flare-ups create an income? I had to quit my last two jobs because I couldn't handle it anymore with the pain, chronic fatigue, and brain fog. Luckily, I do receive some financial support via the VA with a disability rating, but I would love to create an income for myself. I'm working on building a skincare line, but that will take time to get to a place where I can start paying myself. What kind of work do people find that they can handle or even more tricky, an employer that will agree to your short and sporadic hours, deer in the headlight expressions, and call outs for days?
Thank you.
