Hi BettyBoo 👋 Yes, fibro can feel very much like flu. Have a read of this list of 20 people describing their experience and I'm sure some will resonate with you...number 5 for example: themighty.com/2018/09/what-...
The fibro experience differs for everyone but on bad days I feel like I'm wearing clothes made of lead...it's so hard to move. I also ache pretty much everywhere, except my earlobes
Have you learnt about self help techniques like pacing yet? And gentle stretches etc? If not, let me know and I'll try to give you some pointers x
Hi bettyboop yes i feel like i have flu on and off welcome to this site xxx i am more susceptible to allergies now aswell wich is worse in spring i use a steriod nasal spay as my nose is blocked alot of the time xx
Yes like the flu and a rugby squad of nasty goblins armed with baseball bats beating the bejesus out of you and that is on a good day. I am going to get them all sent off for ungentlemanly behaviour.
Almost every single day. It sucks the life out of me at times. For me, hot showers help, but minimally depending on how severe of a day it is.
Always. It’s exhausting. This is how I was first diagnosed. Kept going to gp feeling unwell. Eventually diagnosed.
Yes, everyone I have spoken to feels almost exactly the same, like they have granddaddy of all hangovers without the fun of the night before.
