Are these Fibro symptoms?

After catching Meningitis in February I haven’t been feeling myself and wanted to tell u my symptoms to see if they are fibromyalgia? I’m having test done at the moment to see if it is.

Constant pain, it’s always in my back and from the knees down.

I hurt when I rest too, burning on the knees.

A bad neck and it crunches and I’m forever clicking. This leads on to bad headaches and stiff jaw.

My fingers get stiff when I work and my tummy is always turning.

I have lots of panic attacks and pain on the left side of my breast.

To be honest if I rest to much I hurt and get stiff and if I do to much I have very twitching legs and pain which takes me forever to sleep.

Sorry about long message but just wanted to know ur thoughts on this, can anyone help?

Morning, you say you are having some tests done, so hopefully you will get some answers very soon, fibro sufferers can have a list of symptoms but best to get your checks done 1st, should you get diagnosed with fibro come back on the forum, always good to welcome people for a chat , read posts and help each other , take care.

Sounds possible, but there are so many other things it could be, so get them all checked out You doctor will only confirm Fibro when all other avenues have been excluded.

What you describe sounds familiar but best to wait for results. No matter what the label, it is something you need to manage. Rest and then do activities for shorter periods of time. Like you I feel worse if I rest too long and active for too long and only you can work out how long is best for you. Some find keeping a diary but remember writing the diary in itself is an activity!
