Query: anyone with diagnosed fibro later put on lisinopril?

My ‘normal’ fibromyalgia pain for last 6 years all over with exhaustion and weakness ( I’m also insulin dependent diabetic, hypothyroid, Hashimoto’s and 40 year old chronic spine problem), but for some reason my BP shot up about a month ago. I’ve been taking amlodipine for years, and two weeks ago got 5 mg lisinopril added to the prescriptions. During this two weeks fibro seems worse including more specific areas like bad right knee pain and stiffness, and tingling shoulders ... is it coincidental, or could it be a side effect of lisinopril ( accompanying drug info page not that specific!) Anyone any similar experience to share?

only you can tell what is happening to yourself but i hope you solve your problem it called be any of those reasons so who am i to judge.

Just wondered whether anyone had ‘yellow carded’ it re worsening fibro pain, doubt if GPs would be willing to accept possible link!
