Is anyone else absolutely exhausted at the time of the month . To the point where you can’t leave the house?
Sorry men, periods: Is anyone else... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Sorry men, periods
I thought it was just me 🤷 honestly I am so tired a few days beforehand and my flare ups get worse as well, it's aweful x
Hi Lotti, ive always suffered with period pains, but now they're agony. It feels like I've been punched & am winded by the pain. My TENs is the only thing that helps ease it a bit... Joys of womanhood plus fibro😒
Never apologise for being a woman!
I'm so pleased to be post menopausal as this was really bad for me in the past.
Sensible diet, gentle pain relief (tens sounds like a good idea), hot water bottles and gentle exercise really helped me (short walk, yoga, possibly a swim).
Good luck
Sorry man commenting. My wife as a similar problem which was improved after a few simple blood tests. It was found that certain elements in the blood were low. Your problems may be made worse by something that could be corrected by medication.
Total empathy for you mine got so painful during my thirties just felt horrid , can understand how you just want to curl up. Hot water bottle was a must , think I took primrose oil as well xx
Oh yes, absolutely hate it when I come on.. this sounds disgusting and I do apologise in advance to anyone... the first 3 days I'm constantly pushing out clots and the pain is so intense that I'm limited to go/do anything. Its getting worse as I get older. I do find hot water bottles, gentle excercise (at home) and plenty of rest helps, its just getting others to understand the problem and what it does to us physically thats the hardest.
Another man commenting.
When I worked in the vetinary practice me and the vet I worked with were very aware when our hormones were playing up,,, or feeling fragile,, or whatever.
He was another man.
Men tend to think they escape hormones,,,,, thy don't!
