No can't say I do. Would suggest a trip to the GP as not everything is fibro related. My other half put off seeing GP about his throbbing head and painful jaw until it was so bad it was an emergency turned out he had PMR which could have caused him to go blind if not treated quickly. He's got it under control now with medication. Not suggesting in any way this is what you have but it pays to have head pains or any new symptoms checked out. Sometimes when I get sensory overload my head aches but not shooting pains. As Skit says eyes can also have an impact on head aches.

I do, but it’s usually down to my migraine condition rather than my Fibro xx

I can get shooting pains anywhere —- head, face, legs, feet, hands. But I’d get it checked out, especially if it’s something new. Maybe book an eye test as the optometrist will examine the back of your eyes, peripheral vision and so on. An optometrist can refer you to a hospital if he/she thinks there’s a problem.

I do. I was in so much pain a few years ago that the doctor gave me a steroid injection above my ear which didn't help. I have very tight muscles in my face and neck. I wear a mouth guard that helps and regular massage also a heat pad on my neck and shoulder.

I should go to the doctors though as it could be trigeminal neuralgia.

Hi, I get them in head mainly on right side but not my temples. It has been I investigated and as LuluCops said was eventually put down to a type of migraine called an ice pick headache. But I would still advise you to get it checked out for you and your body.
