Hi I have known moderate to severe osteoarthritis in my spine and joints. Over the last two and a half years or so I have had every blood test and scan in the NHS to try and find a cause for my pain. Each time I see a different consultant and each time they have a new idea on what it could be. Finally my file and it's a big one was reviewed by the top consultant. Who diagnosed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Chronic pain Syndrome/Fibromyalgia. At last somebody as acknowledged my pain and I was referred to a pain consultant who as arranged an 8 week pain management program. It as been a long journey to get a diagnosis.

Newly Diagnosed.
See a chiropractor. Blood test will not show up nerves which are being compressed.
Many consultants do not understand pain caused by muscle behaviour.

I have got a brilliant doctor. I went to see him last year with pins and needles in my hands and I was also having problems straightening my fingers. He sent me for an x-ray on my hands and then sent me for a nerve conduction test he also sent me for an MRI and by this time I was in a lot of pain. Finally in April this year he diagnosed me with fibro and ME.
I quite understand the journey you have been on. I was the same. It took appointment after appointment until I saw a specialist who diagnosed me with fibromyalgia.
At least I now can manage it. Although a lot of people still do not understand it
Take care.
Good luck & hope you find a helpful solution for your pain. Xxpeggy ❤️
