Hi Frances, I am sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment and that your husband has been diagnosed with Dementia. I understand how sad and worried you must feel but hopefully you should receive some help form the Centre the doctor has mentioned. I know when I am stressed or anxious it makes my fibro worse so I wouldn't be surprised if your current situation has had the same impact on you. Talking to those who are experienced in caring for dementia sufferers may help ease some of your anxiety so you may find it beneficial to check out Dementia UK. They are a great source of advice and information for those caring for loved ones with dementia. I have provided the link below:

In the meantime, we will support and help you as much as we can. Take care lovely. X

(P.S. I notice you haven’t locked your post. You don't have to but many of our members are not too keen on responding to unlocked ones therefore you are likely to receive more replies if you do, as it prevent the whole thread being read by internet search engines. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the link below but if you get stuck please don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Alzheimer's Research UK have a whole section on support for carers which you might find useful. Take each day as it comes as it is easier to cope in that way. Accept all the help which is offered and make sure to let people know about your own health problems. Do come on here whenever you feel you need support.x
