Fibromyalgia and what it brings with it !

Hi I'm Diane..I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 4 years ago... I still feel that although I have read and read, spoken to people re fibro I can't get my head around all the different pains and other illnesses that I have since being diagnosed... sorry if it doesn't read properly my heads not in a good place for word finding lol

Sounds like a bit of the brain fog we fibro sufferers sometimes experience! yes there are a lot of different pains we get and so many assume its fibro related, try not to link the 2 together as we can sometimes be so wrong, when you see a gp about any unusual pain dont remind him of the fibro because many with label /link it, thats bad, I try to see a different partner in my practise if its not for someting already diagnosed.Hope you feel better soon.. do you know about pacing with fibro?

I am sure you'll find this community a helpful and supportive place to be ! There's lots of posts to read and many lovely members to talk to as you learn to live with Fibro 24/7. I think it's only natural to feel bewildered when you are newly diagnosed and it will take time to get to a place of acceptance, we can be here as you go through the process.
