Hi. I am not diagnosed but my doctor said she thinks I probably have it! I take D-Ribose but initially I read the book 'From fatigued to Fantastic' by Jacob Teitelbaum. This book has helped me enormously. I purchased the supplements he recommends from Amazon.
I have my own dance School and was at the point where I was going to sell up as just having a shower exhausted me. Now I am teaching 6 days a week again. I still get tired and my muscles ache a lot, especially when I first wake up, but my quality of life is certainly hugely improved. I am 64.
Hope that helps.

I looked up the book on auction site, one reviewer said there was a lot of scientific reports to read( I'm not into that) did you read all that or did you just check out which supplements to order ?
Hi Sheila52 and welcome to our wonderful forum I'm sure you will come to love it as we all do. It really helps to be able to interact with others that are going through or been through the same experiences as yourself.
I am pleased for you that you have found some help from supplements but i would just like to remind everyone.
When a person takes a drug, it’s critical that he or she first consider the potential for interactions with other substances in the body. Drugs can react to other medications, health supplements and even food or alcohol. There are a few instances when such reactions are the goal because they increase the effectiveness of the drugs, but more often, mixing medicines can lead to unwanted and dangerous side effects.

Hi Sheila52 - can I ask you please what supplements you are taking? I tried reading Dr T's book but found it very confusing with all the scientific stuff in it. I am taking quite a few supplements which I've read about elsewhere - vitamin d, iron, magnesium, etc - but I'd be interested to hear what it is you've found so helpful.
Personally I'd much rather self-treat with alternative remedies, rather than pump a load of pharmaceutical drugs into my body, so I'm really interested in this way of doing things. So far, I've been able to cut down on my meds quite a bit, but I feel I've got a long way to go and would love to know what's working for you. Thanks!
Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. Thanks you so much for sharing your tip with us, and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck my friend. Please take care of yourself.
